Courtney Botfield

FOUNDER AND PRODUCER

Courtney is a producer and screen executive with 29 years experience in independent film in Australia, USA and UK. She has worked across development, production, distribution and exhibition at leading screen outfits including Roadshow Films, Bunya Productions, Transmission Films, the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia, NYU and the Edinburgh International Film Festival. As a sought after consultant, she works on select film distribution and marketing projects.

Kate Riedl

FOUNDER, PRODUCER AND DIRECTOR

Kate is an award-winning director, producer and writer of film, television, commercials, immersive reality and documentaries.  Her films have screened at A-List Festivals globally, with her TV work being sold to all major international territories. Her work has won Awards and Nominations at Festivals including Palm Springs International, British Film Festival, Dendy Awards, and the Sydney Film Festival.  Kate is represented by RGM Artists for film and television, and Compulsive Pictures NY for her commercials.

Michaela Kalowski

HEAD OF BOOKS

Michaela is a literary interviewer and moderator who also curates for writers and ideas festivals.

She has interviewed authors including Margaret Atwood, David Mitchell, Tim Winton, Markus Zusak, Zadie Smith, Trent Dalton, Rebecca Kuang and Holly Ringland. For five years, Michaela curated Big Weekend of Books, ABC RN’s annual on-air writers festival, and has presented programs and conducted radio interviews across ABC Radio and TV.

Michaela worked as a producer and music supervisor in film and television, and spent more than a decade as a theatre producer. She is also the co-presenter and co-writer of Laya’s Way Home, a two-part podcast for ABC RN tracing part of her family’s history.
